Due to the design of the BMS in 2-Mode Hybrid applications, the NiMH battery suffers early failures in comparison to the same modules when used in a Toyota application. The performance of Lithium batteries is much higher, allowing for the 2-Mode Hybrid applications to have improved drivability and increased Hybrid Battery performance and longevity.
